It’s based on a true story and the life oft he German officer Albert Battel, who fought the SS in 1942 to save thousands of people and is one of the three officers of the Wehrmacht, who has earned a place in Yad Vashem. A story about the darkness in our own hearts and what it means to be a righteous man in desperate times.
