SOVEREIGN

This TV series tells the story of a mysterious disease which starts to spread in a certain area of Germany – near the Friedrich Loeffler-Institute which has housed scientific research on diseases and bio-weapons for over a century. The biologist Olivia Satow is sent to this area in northern Germany with a team of soldiers and experts to find out what happened at the institute. But what she finds is far more terrifying than any disease ever could be. Soon she will learn that an enemy has risen who is not only a threat to the whole world – but also is a part of herself.

Sovereign is a story about disease, madness and the monsters that are a part of us. Inspired by movies like Arrival and Annihilation it tells a dark story about survival and science in the face of chaos and the unimaginable. A tv series between facing horror and solving a mystery.
