SUGAR

This TV series in the spirits of The Girlfriend Experience and Wolf of Wall Street revolves around Emily, a young, beautiful and extremely clever graduate who despite her cleverness has no chance in getting a good job or even internship. After her father becomes a disabled person in an accident, she has to find a way to support her family. The lawsuit surrounding the crash also needs a lot of money. So, Emily decides to become the trophy girlfriend of a much older billionaire – a sugar babe.

As their relation continues, Emily learns that Louis – her new boyfriend – is responsible for the accident of her father while the relationship grows and becomes more and more emotional for both of them. But now she has to uncover his past and finds out, that he is far more dangerous than she could have ever imagined. And he is not the only one who is after her …

Sugar is a story about the influence of money, corruption, Instagram, Image and how relationships in our time have evolved from love to business. For every love, there is a good contract to be made. The TV-Series is currently under development at Ariane Krampe Film GmbH.
